Fox 4 Good Day anchor Hanna Battah is departing the Dallas station after seven and a half years on air. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s time for me to sign off,\u201d she announced Sunday on social media. \u201cI\u2019m filled with gratitude for the adventures, stories, and everyone who supported me and tuned in throughout my time at KDFW.\u201d <\/p>\n

Battah arrived at the station in 2018 from Bakersfield, Calif., where she reported and anchored for KBAX\/KBFX. After a stint on Fox 4\u2019s weekend morning telecast, she was promoted to being a co-anchor of Good Day\u2019s weekday morning show. <\/p>\n

Battah\u2019s next move remains unclear. \u201cI can\u2019t share next plans quite yet, but I\u2019m hoping to be able to VERY soon,\u201d she replied to a commenter on her recent Facebook post. Her last day will be on Thursday. <\/p>\n

\u201cIn elementary school, I was the student who consistently got in trouble for talking too much during class,\u201d Battah wrote in her Fox 4 biography. \u201cI still talk too much, but at least now I get paid for it.\u201d <\/p>\n

Tributes from viewers poured into the comments section of her social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot sure why you\u2019re leaving Hanna or where you\u2019ll end up next, but thank you for making my mornings a little brighter,\u201d one user wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n
