A motorcycle rider wanted in connection with the shooting of a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy in the Rancho Cucamonga area crashed at the end of a high-speed freeway chase. <\/p>\n
The shooting was reported at about midday in the 12300 block of Hollyhock Drive. Details about what led to the shooting and the deputy’s condition were not immediately available.<\/p>\n
The motorcyclist was on the 210 Freeway when the bike struck the side of another vehicle. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle.<\/p>\n
Firefighter-paramedics appeared to be speaking with the man on the side of the freeway. A medical helicopter landed on the freeway to transport him to a hospital. <\/p>\n
