It\u2019s been 199 days since the San Antonio Spurs last lost a game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Silver and Black won all five preseason games in October and their first three games<\/a> of the 2025-26 regular season under coach Mitch Johnson<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The Spurs\u2019 last defeat occurred on April 11 in Phoenix, a 117-98 loss to the Suns.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A capacity crowd of 19,016 filled Frost Bank Center on Sunday as Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs to a 118-107 victory over the Brooklyn Nets and became the first player in NBA history to record 100 points and 15 blocks in the first three games of the regular season. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to punch above our weight even though we\u2019re a small market and we\u2019re a constant underdog. That\u2019s OK,\u201d said Spurs Chairman Peter J. Holt said at a CityFest panel on Oct. 21. \u201cIt\u2019s awesome that our fans have high expectations for us and we\u2019ve got some amazing young, new players surrounded by some vets and a new coach.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Spurs expect another sellout for tonight\u2019s game<\/a> against Toronto.<\/p>\n

After tonight, the Spurs will have 39 home games left, including two in Austin during the annual Rodeo Road Trip. <\/p>\n

Off the court, the Spurs have been making headlines recently for the team\u2019s part in Project Marvel<\/a>, a planned sports and entertainment district near Hemisfair anchored by a new $1.3 billion arena<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Early voting<\/a> continues through Oct. 31 for the Nov. 4 Bexar County venue tax election<\/a>, during which voters are being asked to approve about quarter of the downtown arena\u2019s funding as well as renovate the team\u2019s current Eastside home into a year-round rodeo district. <\/p>\n
