It’s unclear if the victim suffered any trauma to her body, according to police.<\/p>\n

EAST HARLEM, New York (WABC) — Police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a plastic bag in East Harlem on Monday.<\/p>\n

MTA Police contacted the NYPD after the woman was found on the sidewalk at East 124th Street and Park Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

EMS responded and pronounced the unidentified woman, of unknown age, dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

It’s unclear if the victim suffered any trauma to her body, according to police.<\/p>\n

The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine her cause and manner of death.<\/p>\n
