Yet, she didn’t let her off-court impact fade away. She continued working and giving back to the community that helped her become Caitlin Clark. And that’s why, during this offseason, her foundation has taken a step forward to highlight her notable contributions.

Watch What’s Trending Now!

Founded back in 2023, the Caitlin Clark Foundation works to “uplift and improve the lives of youth and their communities through education, nutrition, and sport.” Caitlin Clark herself serves as the driving force behind the foundation’s efforts. It’s no surprise that the community she has built reflects the positive change she has initiated.

So, the team took to its official Instagram page and wrote, “Would you like to round up your purchase?… It’s a small question, but it makes a big difference. Thanks to @hyvee shoppers, we were able to donate $300,000 to local food banks in the @feedingamerica network. That’s over 3 million nutritious meals!” – tagging not just the effort but also the partners involved.

Article continues below this ad

via Imago

Jul 19, 2025; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Team Clark guard Caitlin Clark (22) looks on before the 2025 WNBA All Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. However, this initiative was not undertaken alone. Hy-Vee partnered with Feeding America, the nation’s leading hunger relief network, which connects millions of people through food banks and meal programs across the country.

Article continues below this ad

So, together, the three partners – Hy-Vee, Feeding America, and the Caitlin Clark Foundation – launched the initiative in March. At the first stage of the mission, Hy-Vee kicked off its Round Up campaign. Throughout the month, customers at Dollar Fresh Market, Fast & Fresh stores, and Hy-Vee were encouraged to round up or directly donate.

They managed to collect over $300,000 to take the next step in their mission. Then, CC’s foundation and Feeding America used that money to support local food banks and pantries, making sure the cash stayed right in the community where it was raised. In just eight months, this effort helped deliver more than 3 million healthy meals to families in need.

That’s exactly how CC’s vision – “Nutrition is very important to children’s growth and well-being and has been instrumental to my success as an athlete. By providing meals to families in need, we can help make sure each child has the energy they need to succeed.” – was served. But of course, this is just part of a bigger initiative.

Read Top Stories First From EssentiallySports

Click here and check box next to EssentiallySports

Article continues below this ad

Caitlin Clark’s vision of giving back

Basketball has always been a way to give back, at least for CC. That’s what inspired the creation of the Caitlin Clark Foundation in 2023, a nonprofit based in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Since it started, every effort from CC’s foundation has been built around three main areas: education, nutrition, and sports. For education, she’s made sure kids have access to books, school supplies, and literacy programs- like when she donated 22,000 books back in January 2025. When it comes to sports, her goal is about giving everyone a chance to play.

Through her “Community Courts Initiative” with Musco Lighting, the foundation is helping build recreation courts at middle schools to make sports more accessible. And, her support ain’t just limited to here.

She’s even extended her support to local initiatives by providing four grants of $22,000 each to organisations that made a lasting impact. It included the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, the Coralville Community Food Pantry, the Boys & Girls Club of the Corridor, and Special Olympics Iowa–East Central.

Well, you might often see figures around 22, and that’s obviously because of her jersey number. And that’s majorly because, from donating warm clothing and sports gear through the “Warm Up Campaign” with Nike to contributing $22,000 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa’s 60th anniversary gala, CC continues to give back where it all began.

So yes, this is the kind of human Caitlin Clark really is. And honestly, it’s not hard to see why she lives in the hearts of millions who are ready to empty their wallets just to watch their legend – on and off the court

We didn’t see much of the Indiana Fever sensation this season, as she was limited to just 13…

[49
62,67,132,68,232,62609
0":"post-338023","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-wnba","8":"tag-sports","9":"tag-united-states","10":"tag-unitedstates","11":"tag-us","12":"tag-wnba","13":"tag-wow
["GET
