Fresh off her press tour for\u00a0Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Jennifer Lopez<\/strong> spent some quality time with her 17-year-old child, Emme.\u00a0<\/strong>The duo was spotted\u00a0<\/strong>looking adorable\u00a0<\/strong>over the weekend in Beverly Hills at a 5-star hotel.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The pair was seen arriving at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, both holding their phones in their left hand.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Always one to look stylish, Lopez looked chic in a white blouse with a plunging neckline and ruffled detailing, tucked into high-waisted denim jeans cinched with a brown leather belt. She layered the look with a brown blazer and platform heels.<\/p>\n

\u00a0At one point, the singer-actress stepped aside to take a quick phone call before heading back inside.<\/p>\n

Their outing comes after the “Jenny From the Block” singer made a rare red carpet appearance with both of her 17-year-old twins<\/a>, Max<\/strong> and Emme<\/strong>, at the\u00a0Kiss of the Spider Woman premiere<\/p>\n

\nAn empty nest soon\u00a0<\/p>\n

As Lopez’s twins, who share with Marc Anthony<\/a>, continue to grow up, she will soon be an empty nester. In the October 6 episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, she revealed that they are already visiting colleges<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s crazy. We’re visiting a college today,\u201d she said. \u201cIt’s happening. They’re leaving. They’re going.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Lopez, seeing her children grow up is a bittersweet moment. \u201cI’m happy because I remember how exciting that time of my life was when I was like, \u2018Oh, I’m figuring out what I want to do with my life,\u2019\u201d she explained. \u201cIt\u2019s an exciting adventure, and I want that for them. But I also think, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m gonna be by myself.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the looming empty-nest years, JLo has made it clear that she wants Max and Emme to always feel at home. \u201cSince they were born, I was like, whatever this is, whatever we create, the three of us together, it’s going to be something that they always are like, \u2018When I go home, it feels good. It smells like home, it tastes like home.\u2019 All of it,\u201d the 56-year-old said. \u201cI always concentrated on that with them, and I feel like we’ve created that.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for what the future holds for the twins, they’ve lived a relatively private life when it comes to their interests. But in September, JLo did reveal that one of them is doing musical theater. \u201cI have a musical theatre kid right now and so I\u2019m living my best life,” she said. \u201cThey go away for camp for musical theatre, and they do all the shows. And I get to go see them, and it\u2019s fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n

While she did not reveal who it was, she and Emme attended Broadway musicals earlier this year. Plus, Emme famously joined her on stage at the Super Bowl in 2020.
