The weapon was described as a black handgun. <\/p>\n<p>As of Tuesday evening, a university spokesperson said no further details were available. A spokesperson for the Houston Police Department said it was not involved with the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Disclosure: Houston Public Media is licensed to the University of Houston System.
