\n\tIt\u2019s the most wonderful time of the year \u2014 because it\u2019s time to celebrate Halloween in the Dancing With the Stars<\/a> ballroom!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tMarking another beloved themed episode of the competitive dance series, things got spooky Tuesday night as the couples performed dances inspired by the holiday of Halloween. This week, the cast notably had prepared for the dance marathon (aka the \u201cDance Monster-thon\u201d), which tasks the full cast to hit the stage at the same time as the judges knock them off one by one, until one pair wins.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tNine couples remain in the cast as season 34 beings to dwindle down, including Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles<\/a>, social media star Alix Earle<\/a>, The Traitors season three winner (and Zac Efron\u2019s brother) Dylan Efron<\/a>, actresses Danielle Fishel and Elaine Hendrix, conservationist (and son of Steve Irwin) Robert Irwin<\/a> and comedian-actor Andy Richter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tScott Hoying and Rylee Arnold were eliminated at the end of last week\u2019s Wicked Night<\/a>, which saw each couple pay homage to the upcoming Wicked: For Good while Jon M. Chu served as a guest judge.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Halloween Night, four weeks<\/a> of competition remain. DWTS will crown its 34th winning duo on Nov. 25 in a special three-hour finale. Until then, remaining theme nights include Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the show\u2019s 20th Birthday Party celebration and Prince Night, which falls on the semi-finals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tJoining Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli on the judges panel this week is former professional dancer Cheryl Burke<\/a>. The two-time mirrorball champion celebrated her return to the ballroom in conversation with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> ahead of Tuesday night\u2019s episode, where she promised to be a \u201cconstructive and encouraging\u201d judge whose looking to see \u201cauthenticity and growth\u201d from the cast.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe couple with the lowest combined total of judges\u2019 scores and viewer votes is eliminated at the end of each episode. Live voting takes place during the East Coast airing of each show and ends shortly after the final performance is completed.<\/p>\n
