PHOENIX \u2014 A woman is in the hospital and a suspect is at large after a shooting in north Phoenix on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the area of 25th Avenue and Greenway Road<\/a> for reports of a shooting around 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

When police arrived on the scene, they reportedly found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n

Police said that the Phoenix Fire Department took the woman to a hospital with serious injuries, but she is now stable.<\/p>\n

The suspect left before officers arrived, according to Phoenix police.<\/p>\n

Police said that officers are speaking to witnesses.<\/p>\n

The investigation into the north Phoenix shooting is ongoing.<\/p>\n
