{"id":340302,"date":"2025-10-29T08:10:35","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T08:10:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/340302\/"},"modified":"2025-10-29T08:10:35","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T08:10:35","slug":"michelin-guide-selects-houston-restaurants-for-2025-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/340302\/","title":{"rendered":"Michelin Guide selects Houston restaurants for 2025 edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rice Village\u2019s wait for buttermilk lobster bites and shrimp and crab lemon risotto will end next week. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.libertykitchenoysterette.com\/rice-village-location\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Liberty Kitchen &amp; Oysterette<\/strong><\/a> will open its newest location next Wednesday, November 5.<\/p>\n<p>Located in the former Gratify space at 5212 Morningside, the <a href=\"https:\/\/houston.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/liberty-kitchen-oysterette-rice-village\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">new Liberty Kitchen<\/a> will be the restaurant\u2019s third outpost, joining its siblings in River Oaks and Memorial. Like those locations, the new Liberty Kitchen will serve a seafood-oriented menu that features dishes such as fried shrimp, gumbo, cioppino, and Texas redfish on the half shell.<\/p>\n<p>New for this location is a Chef\u2019s Table menu of seasonal dishes that will rotate throughout the year. At opening, selections will include braised octopus with Sichuan cucumbers, green curry mussels, seared monkfish, and spiced rack of lamb.<\/p>\n<p>Culinary Khancepts \u2014 the hospitality group behind Liberty Kitchen, State Fare, Leo\u2019s River Oaks, and others \u2014tasked its in-house Star Commercial Construction Group and Laura Loreman Interiors with redesigning the 3,500-square-foot space. Details include Kelly green leather booths, chandeliers, and two patios.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was exciting to reimagine the brand in a way that feels cohesive with what\u2019s come before while giving Rice Village its own lively personality,\u201d designer Laura Loreman said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Liberty Kitchen will celebrate Rice Village\u2019s grand opening with a special brunch service on Saturday, November 15. Look for live music, cocktail specials, and dishes such as a caviar omelet.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, all three Liberty Kitchen locations will serve Gulf Coast oysters on-the-half-shell for $1 all day, every day from November 5 until December 31.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRice Village is a vibrant mix of families, students, and professionals \u2014 it has a pulse all its own,\u201d Culinary Khancepts CEO Omar Khan added. \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to bring Liberty Kitchen\u2019s coastal spirit and approachable energy to this part of Houston.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant opens at 11 am Monday through Friday for lunch and dinner and 10 am Saturday and Sunday for bruch and dinner.
