NEW PHILADELPHIA \u2014 A new veterans memorial will be dedicated at Schoenbrunn Meadow Cemetery in New Philadelphia on Veterans Day.<\/p>\n

The ceremony will take place at 8 a.m. Nov. 11 at the cemetery, 2037 Delaware Drive SE, according to a community announcement.<\/p>\n

The stone monument was donated by VFW Post 1445 and serves as a place for veterans, military members, families and community members to remember and honor those who have served in the U.S. military.<\/p>\n

The dedication ceremony will include comments from Mayor Joel Day and Post Commander Steve Chenevey. The VFW Post 1445 Military Honors Team will sound “To the Colors\u201d at a flag raising, followed by \u201cVolleys and Taps,\u201d which renders honors to all who served in the armed forces.<\/p>\n
