{"id":340679,"date":"2025-10-29T11:49:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T11:49:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/340679\/"},"modified":"2025-10-29T11:49:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T11:49:09","slug":"lace-up-for-culturemaps-first-ice-rink-in-downtown-dallas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/340679\/","title":{"rendered":"Lace up for CultureMap&#8217;s first ice rink in downtown Dallas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This holiday season, the first-ever <a href=\"https:\/\/cityrink.culturemap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CultureMap City Rink<\/strong><\/a> is set to transform Downtown Dallas\u2019 Main Street Garden into a winter wonderland filled with ice skating, twinkling lights, and festive fun for all ages.<\/p>\n<p>Presented by Verizon and produced in partnership with Downtown Dallas, Inc., the rink will sparkle from November 26, 2025, through January 5, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s something special about experiencing the holidays in Downtown Dallas \u2014 the lights, the skyline, the sense of togetherness,\u201d says Jennifer Scripps, president and CEO of Downtown Dallas, Inc. \u201cThe City Rink at Main Street Garden will capture that spirit and create a destination where the joy of the season truly shines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Expect themed pop-ups and a full slate of programming designed for every kind of holiday reveler. From romantic Date Skate Wednesdays to Family Movie Nights and Shop + Skate Saturday Markets, there\u2019s something new happening each week:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li>Tree Lighting Celebration \u2014 Saturday, November 29<\/li>\n<li>Dallas Holiday Parade Activation \u2014 Saturday, December 6<\/li>\n<li>Cheap Skate Mondays \u2014 Select Mondays<\/li>\n<li>Date Skate \u2014 Select Wednesdays<\/li>\n<li>Family Movie Night \u2014 Select Fridays<\/li>\n<li>Shop + Skate Night Market \u2014 Select Saturdays<\/li>\n<li>Santa Skate \u2014 Select Sundays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When the chill sets in, skaters can warm up at the Apr\u00e8s Chalet, a cozy on-site lounge serving holiday drinks (with or without spirits) and hosting entertainment throughout the season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVerizon is passionate about connecting DFW residents to unique experiences,\u201d says Michelle R. Miller, senior vice president at Verizon. \u201cPartnering to bring the magic of CultureMap\u2019s City Rink to life is a wonderful way for us to help our community create lasting memories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The rink will operate November 26 through December 18 with hours Monday-Friday from 4-10 pm, Saturdays 10 am-10 pm, and Sundays 10 am-8 pm.<\/p>\n<p>During school holidays (December 19-January 4), hours expand to 10 am-10 pm Monday-Saturday and 10 am-8 pm on Sundays.<\/p>\n<p>Special holiday hours include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li>November 26-28: 10 am-10 pm<\/li>\n<li>December 24 &amp; 31: 10 am-7 pm<\/li>\n<li>December 25 &amp; January 1: 1 pm-7 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tickets are $18 for all ages, and include skate rentals and 75 minutes of ice time.
