\u201cI think she looks trans,\u201d Lemon \u2014 who has grandstanded against transphobia in the past \u2014 declared on a recent episode of his new \u201cClip Farmers\u201d podcast, as he and his co-hosts were crassly discussing the appearance of \u201cMAGA ladies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLooks clockable,\u201d the lefty ex-anchor added, referring to a tactless term used to describe a trans person who is not \u201cpassing\u201d or is identifiable as their biological gender.<\/p>\n
\u201cLet\u2019s end on that note,\u201d his co-host awkwardly says at the end of the clip, which was widely shared\u00a0 online.<\/p>\n
Lemon\u2019s comments drew immediate backlash from critics, who blasted him for using \u201ctrans\u201d to insult the fellow former news anchor since he has stood up against transphobia in the past.<\/p>\n

The slur comes despite the lefty host being loudly outspoken about LGBTQ rights in the past.<\/p>\n
Lemon railed against transphobia and anti-LGBTQ legislation at the\u00a0Son Awards in 2023 \u2014 an\u00a0annual event celebrating the achievements of Black gay and queer men.<\/p>\n
