Credit: Kat Stinson<\/p>\n<p>HOUSTON \u2014\u00a0San Antonio restaurants shone brightly at 2025\u2019s Texas Michelin Guide awards Tuesday night, earning more new stars than any other city in the state.<\/p>\n<p>Mixtli \u2014 San Antonio\u2019s acclaimed modern Mexican fine-dining destination in Southtown led by chefs Diego Galicia and Rico Torres \u2014\u00a0retained the one star it earned in 2024. Meanwhile, Isidore and Nicosi, both part of the Pullman Market collective founded by Emmer &amp; Rye Hospitality, each secured their first.<\/p>\n<p>Isidore, named for the patron saint of farmers, offers an elevated Texas steakhouse experience celebrating local producers and seasonal ingredients under chef de cuisine Ian Lanphear and Emmer &amp; Rye corporate chefs Danny Parada and Jorge Hernandez. Credit: Kat Stinson<\/p>\n<p>San Antonio spots Cullum\u2019s Attaboy, Ladino, Southerleigh Fine Food &amp; Brewery and The Jerk Shack all retained their Bib Gourmand designations, while Mezquite, another Pullman Market concept known for its Sonoran-inspired fare, earned its first. Seguin\u2019s Burnt Bean Co. also was named a Bib Gourmand.<\/p>\n<p>Although Michelin\u2019s Recommended list wasn\u2019t formally announced at the ceremony, several local restaurants were recognized in that category, which honors establishments delivering stellar dining experiences that fall just short of a star. Barbecue Station, Signature, Leche de Tigre, Garcia\u2019s Mexican Food, 2M Smokehouse, and Signature Restaurant all retained their Michelin Recommended status, while newcomer Reese Bros. BBQ earned its first distinction.<\/p>\n<p>No Texas restaurant has yet achieved two or three Michelin stars \u2014 but with San Antonio\u2019s strong showing this year, that could change
