{"id":341750,"date":"2025-10-29T22:43:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T22:43:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/341750\/"},"modified":"2025-10-29T22:43:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T22:43:14","slug":"la-clippers-introduce-new-features-at-intuit-dome-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/341750\/","title":{"rendered":"LA Clippers introduce new features at Intuit Dome \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Intuit Dome\u2019s already getting some upgrades after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/video\/on-air\/opening-night-at-the-intuit-dome-in-inglewood\/3489527\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">opening<\/a> less than two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The first new feature the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/tag\/los-angeles-clippers\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Los Angeles Clippers<\/a> announced is its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/clippers\/wave-makers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wave Makers program<\/a>, a rewards system for its most loyal fans. Clippers faithful can complete missions on game days to earn experience points, which can then be exchanged for prizes such as reduced concessions and upgraded tickets.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is the first fan loyalty system in the NBA, and the team\u2019s website says it\u2019s designed to \u201cmake every fan the \u2018Sixth Man\u2019 at Intuit Dome.\u201d The program also has badges that fans can earn in various ways, such as getting to the game 30 minutes early or being the loudest fan in the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a ranking system, where fans can compete against one another across the entire season and \u201clevel up\u201d by completing missions.<\/p>\n<p>The Clippers are also partnering with Candy Crush Saga to display the game on the arena\u2019s Halo Board jumbotron during halftime. Spectators can compete against one another before the start of the third quarter using the controllers attached to their seats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCandy Crush\u2019s iconic gameplay aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for every fan at Intuit Dome,\u201d said Gillian Zucker, CEO of Halo Sports &amp; Entertainment. \u201cAs we continue to amplify the energy in the bowl, we\u2019re tipping off the second half with a game that takes over the entire arena.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Candy Crush is partnered with the Clippers through the 2028-29 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Clippers played the 2024-25 NBA season in the arena, which introduced several ideas and experiences the league had not yet seen.<\/p>\n<p>The most notable of these is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/nba\/clippers-new-arena-features-fan-section-called-the-wall-with-strict-rules\/3313983\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cThe Wall,\u201d<\/a> which has a standing-only section where 300 fans pack\u00a0 51 rows right next to the visiting team\u2019s bench. The Wall fits about 4,500 fans in total, and spectators who sit there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/clippers\/thewall\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">banned from wearing the opposing team\u2019s gear<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Intuit Dome is one of the most technologically advanced arenas in the NBA. Each seat has its own USB port and a decibel meter that displays the noise coming from every individual fan.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to hosting the Clippers\u2019 home games this year, the Intuit Dome will also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/sports\/nba\/clippers-new-intuit-dome-to-host-2026-nba-all-star-game-reports-say\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">host the 2026 NBA All-Star Game<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Intuit Dome\u2019s already getting some upgrades after opening less than two years ago.
