Rosie O\u2019Donnell is turning to her fans for support.<\/p>\n

Bruce Glikas\/FilmMagic<\/p>\n O\u2019Donnell took to Instagram to ask for prayers after Chelsea was sentenced to prison last week for violating the terms of her probation for drug charges.<\/p>\n \u201cPrayers welcomed,\u201d she continued, adding hashtags for addiction awareness, love and family.<\/p>\n O\u2019Donnell and her then-partner, Kelli Carpenter, adopted Chelsea shortly after she was born in 1997.<\/p>\n Last year, Chelsea was arrested in Wisconsin three different times between September and December. <\/p>\n O\u2019Donnell\u2019s oldest daughter\u2019s mugshot following her first arrest in September 2024. AP<\/p>\n On Sept. 10, O\u2019Donnell\u2019s 28-year-old daughter was arrested on\u00a0felony charges that included child neglect and possession of methamphetamine. <\/p>\n One month after posting bail and being released, Chelsea was arrested again on more felony counts<\/a> that included bail jumping, resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of methamphetamine.<\/p>\n That November,\u00a0Chelsea was arrested a third time<\/a> on similar charges, including possession of methamphetamine, bail jumping and possession of narcotic drugs.<\/p>\n Chelsea O\u2019Donnell\u2019s mugshot shortly after her third arrest in Wisconsin in November 2024. Ricki-Lee & Tim Joel\/TikTok<\/p>\n \u201cSo yes this is true,\u201d the\u00a0former talk show host captioned an\u00a0Instagram post<\/a> in the wake of her daughter\u2019s third arrest.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter being bailed out by her birth mother \u2013 chelsea was arrested again \u2013 and is facing many charges related to her drug addiction,\u201d O\u2019Donnell continued. \u201cWe all hope she is able to get the help she needs to turn her life around.\u201d<\/p>\n Chelsea went on to plead guilty to three felony counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, felony bail jumping and possession of methamphetamine in February 2024. Bruce Glikas\/FilmMagic<\/p>\n The conditions of Chelsea\u2019s probation included<\/a> sobriety, no possession of alcohol or other controlled substances without a prescription, no contact with drug users or sellers and no possession or ownership of any firearm.<\/p>\n However, O\u2019Donnell\u2019s daughter had her probation revoked and was sentenced to prison on Oct. 22, per People<\/a>.<\/p>\n The \u201cFlintstones\u201d actress later addressed her daughter\u2019s prison sentence and \u201cscary future\u201d further in a statement to the outlet.<\/p>\n A photo of O\u2019Donnell\u2019s oldest daughter before she succumbed to drug addiction. Chelsea was born into addiction and it has been a painful journey for her and her four young children,\u201d O\u2019Donnell said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe continue to love and support her through these horrible times,\u201d the former \u201cView\u201d host added<\/a>. \u201cPrayers welcomed.\u201d<\/p>\n The Post has reached out to O\u2019Donnell\u2019s reps for comment.<\/p>\n Chelsea, meanwhile, is a mom of four.
