Floyd Roger Myers Jr. – who was known for portraying a young Will Smith<\/a> on the hit series The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air – has passed away at the age of 42 on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The late star’s mother Renee Trice confirmed the heartbreaking news to TMZ <\/a>while also revealing the cause of death.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She told the outlet that her son Floyd died in the early hours of Wednesday after suffering from a heart attack inside his Maryland<\/a> home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However it was not his first – with his mother also telling TMZ that he suffered three prior heart attacks leading up to his death over the past three years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Renee added that she had just spoken to her son the night before his sudden passing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Floyd’s professional acting career seemingly came to a pause after 2000 – however he had kept busy and was one of the co-founders of the Fellaship Mens Group, per his Instagram bio<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fellaship was launched ‘to address the often-overlooked emotional and mental health challenges that men face, Fellaship creates safe, judgment-free spaces for men to be seen, heard, and supported,’ according to the official website.<\/p>\n

The late star would often post about the program and its events to his main Instagram page.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Floyd had also been the owner of an air duct and dryer vent cleaning company called Dr. Duct.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to his social media account, he also appeared to have been a father of four – and had shared photos of himself with his children over the years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Back in 2023, Floyd shared an image of himself cheerfully posing with his family and penned in the caption, ‘A lot has changed yet so much has remained the same!!! Family Over Everything!! -MyersGang.’\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

While uploading a photo of himself in a hospital bed, the star had written in the caption: ‘Just a week ago i was in a coma fighting for my life!!<\/p>\n

‘The way my GOD work though. I’m beyond blessed and grateful to be alive !!’ he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘That’s heartbreaking to hear. Only 42 years old is far too soon. Sending sincere condolensces to his family and to all the fans who grew up watching his work,’ another commented.\u00a0<\/p>\n
