Inside, they found the elderly woman with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was rushed to the hospital, where she is expected to survive.<\/p>\n<p>Police believe an overnight home health aide stabbed the victim, though it was not immediately clear why the aide allegedly attacked the patient in her home. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the day, a car sat idle between the lawn and a walkway, just steps away from the front door.<\/p>\n<p>No arrests have yet been made, and police have not identified the suspect.
