Alejandro Garnacho has had a slow start to life at Chelsea since joining them from Manchester United.<\/p>\n

The Argentina international was part of the \u2018bomb squad\u2019 at Old Trafford and didn\u2019t train under Ruben Amorim during pre-season. He was determined to join Chelsea and had to wait until the end of August to secure a move.<\/p>\n

The winger has played 331 minutes from seven matches for the Blues. At the weekend, he netted his first goal for Chelsea in their league defeat to Sunderland.<\/p>\n

Former Argentina international Oscar Ruggeri has questioned the 21-year-old\u2019s attitude. He\u2019s been speaking to ESPN about his compatriot and TNT Sports<\/a> have relayed his comments.<\/p>\n

Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni hasn\u2019t picked Garnacho for the national team since November 2024. Ruggeri believes the Chelsea player has potential but needs to change his attitude.<\/p>\n

The former defender, who won the World Cup with La Albiceleste in 1986, didn\u2019t hold back when being critical of the South American. He also highlighted his qualities.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s no better than anyone else, you\u2019re a football player, enjoy it, but you shouldn\u2019t be so full of yourself. It\u2019s pointless because you miss out on so much. Someone has to bring him down to earth,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re not calling him up to the national team. If he comes back down to earth like he was, they\u2019ll call him up again because he\u2019s phenomenal on the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n
