It\u2019s such an important time to honor the generations of people who came before me and to reflect on how they paved the way to where my family is today.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking to celebrate the Mexican holiday with the Fort Worth community, head to Sundance Square Plaza this Saturday for the return of downtown\u2019s annual Catrina Fest. Find out more about the festivities below.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Also, the Lone Star Film Festival is back through Nov. 5 at a time when movies and TV are hot topics in the city. The schedule includes a lot of great<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fortworthreport.org\/2025\/10\/14\/revel-in-fort-worths-creativity-at-return-of-lone-star-film-festival\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>film screenings and panel conversations<\/strong><\/a> you don\u2019t want to miss.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fortworthreport.org\/event\/sundance-square-catrina-festival-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Honor ancestors at Mexican holiday celebration<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Vibrant cultural activities, Aztec dancers, vendors and live music will fill downtown.
