Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are enjoying some downtime after a chaotic year for the pop icon and NFL star.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And that has been a big boost for their relationship, one source told People<\/a>, calling it a \u201cturning point for their relationship\u201d and that the couple is \u201cincredibly happy and in sync.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that\u2019s been really grounding for Taylor and Travis,\u201d the insider told the outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kelce concluded his 2024 NFL season when the Chiefs fell to the Eagles in the Super Bowl in February after Swift wrapped up her Eras Tour a few months earlier in December, which has made the past few months some of the first time the couple has had to themselves.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The two have kept a lower profile during the slower-paced time, though they have started to step out into public view a bit more recently.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor and Travis are soaking up every minute of this slower season together,\u201d the source said. \u201cThey\u2019ve been splitting their time between New York, Nashville, and a few quiet getaways, just enjoying each other\u2019s company without all the usual chaos. This kind of downtime is rare for both of them, and it\u2019s really allowed their bond to deepen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Kelce and Swift appeared at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final<\/a> in Florida, drawing plenty of eyeballs to the couple as they watched the Panthers and Oilers duke it out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And, less than two weeks ago, the loved-up pair enjoyed a surprise date night in New York<\/a> as they were seen at the swanky Nolita restaurant Torrisi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Swift and Kelce have been spotted out at various hot spots around Manhattan and the country since they went public with their relationship in 2023, but the \u201cguy on the Chiefs\u201d pushed back on any notion that they step out together purely for the attention.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re having fun with it, being a couple,\u201d Kelce said during a recent episode of \u201cBussin\u2019 With The Boys.\u201d<\/a> \u201cIt gets thrown out there that we\u2019re trying to seek attention now and then, and we\u2019re just enjoying life, having fun, going to hockey games, kind of introducing her to some more of the sports world that she hasn\u2019t really [seen]\u2026 [Stanley Cup] was fun, man.\u201d<\/p>\n

The NFL season is rapidly approaching, and the source told People that Swift was \u201creally looking forward\u201d to the upcoming season, especially with the past struggles of managing time to see Kelce and traveling for her world tour.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis fall will be completely different,\u201d the person said. \u201cIt\u2019s the first season where she\u2019s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Swift only appeared at Chiefs games played in Kansas City last season, aside from her presence at the Super Bowl.\u00a0<\/p>\n
