EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 El Paso Locomotive FC will host Phoenix Rising FC in the opening round of the 2025 USL Championship Playoffs on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. MT at Southwest University Park. <\/p>\n

This marks the first home playoff match for Locomotive since 2021, following Phoenix’s draw against Pittsburgh Riverhounds FC. The winner will face either FC Tulsa or the eighth seed.<\/p>\n

Locomotive, having scored a record 61 goals this season, aims to advance in the postseason for the first time since 2020. <\/p>\n

Phoenix Rising FC enters as the fifth seed in the Western Conference, with both teams having drawn twice this season in matches featuring three-goal comebacks.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the match and potential future home playoff games are available online. Season Ticket Memberships for the 2026 season are also on sale, offering priority seating and the best prices for all home matches.<\/p>\n
