Not many players gets to take the ice for 1,000 NHL games.<\/p>\n

Longtime Stars forward Tyler Seguin<\/a> became the 39th active player and 410th overall to join that club during Dallas\u2019 game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday. <\/p>\n

To celebrate, the Stars<\/a> posted a short video tribute for Seguin ahead puck drop.<\/p>\n

The Stars also changed their profile picture on X to a baby-faced Seguin and made their page header a Seguin-themed photo collage from throughout his career.<\/p>\n

A number of Seguin\u2019s teammates also arrived to the game wearing matching t-shirts to mark the occasion.<\/p>\n

Seguin joined the Stars for the 2013-24 season after spending three years with the Boston Bruins who drafted him second overall in the 2010 NHL draft. Now in his 13th season with Dallas, Seguin has played in five All-Star games and amassed 693 points (307 goals, 386 assists) in 796 games played for the franchise. He is fifth in Stars history for both points and goals.<\/p>\n

In exchange for Tuomaala, Dallas sent defenseman Christian Kyrou to Philadelphia. <\/p>\n
