New network. Same old Chuck.<\/p>\n

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley and the rest of the Inside the NBA crew are back at it for the new NBA season, now on ESPN after moving over from TNT<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Two weeks into the new digs and they\u2019re already settling into their usual groove, with conversations going off the rails and devolving into hilarious bickering between Barkley, Shaquille O\u2019Neal and Kenny Smith, with Ernie Johnson in the middle of it all. <\/p>\n

On Tuesday night, the topic of conversation that set it all off was none other than the Dallas Cowboys<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is our second week on ESPN,\u201d Johnson said in Tuesday\u2019s edition. \u201cAnd we still haven\u2019t talked about the Cowboys.\u201d<\/p>\n

This, of course, opened the door for frequent Cowboys-basher Barkley to get a few digs in. <\/p>\n

\u201cWell, you know, they have us contractually obligated to talk about the Cowboys every day,\u201d Barkley said, a light-hearted jab at his new network\u2019s reputation for over-analyzing America\u2019s Team. \u201cEven though their defense can\u2019t stop a bloody nose.\u201d<\/p>\n

This riled up longtime Cowboys fan Shaq, but Barkley followed up with the line of the evening.<\/p>\n

\u201cStop people from scoring!\u201d Barkley exclaimed. \u201cDon\u2019t trade your best defensive player and then whine about [how] you can\u2019t stop anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even Shaq got a chuckle out of that one.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys defense is indeed struggling<\/a> without former star Micah Parsons, who, incidentally, was named Defensive Player of the Month for October<\/a> with his new team, the Packers.<\/p>\n

Depending on how far Micah and the first-place Packers go, this might not be the last time Barkley and O\u2019Neal end up bickering about the subject.<\/p>\n
