Over 60,000 bottles of California Gold Nutrition women\u2019s multivitamins, manufactured by iHerb, are being voluntarily recalled due to concerns related to the risk of  \u201cchild poisoning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpsc.gov\/Recalls\/2025\/iHerb-Recalls-Bottles-and-Blister-Packs-of-California-Gold-Nutrition-Iron-Supplements-Due-to-Risk-of-Serious-Injury-or-Death-from-Child-Poisoning-Violation-of-Federal-Standard-for-Child-Resistant-Packaging\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.cpsc.gov\/Recalls\/2025\/iHerb-Recalls-Bottles-and-Blister-Packs-of-California-Gold-Nutrition-Iron-Supplements-Due-to-Risk-of-Serious-Injury-or-Death-from-Child-Poisoning-Violation-of-Federal-Standard-for-Child-Resistant-Packaging\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)\" data-node-id=\"3.1\" class=\"body-link css-inlxvj emevuu60\" rel=\"noopener\">Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)<\/a> announced the recall of three separate California Gold Nutrition women\u2019s supplements on June 26. The recall is specifically for the brand\u2019s <strong data-node-id=\"3.3\">Daily Prenatal Multi<\/strong>, <strong data-node-id=\"3.5\">Ultamins Women\u2019s Multivitamin<\/strong>, and <strong data-node-id=\"3.7\">Ultamins Women\u2019s 50+ Multivitamin<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">According to the CPSC, the impacted bottles are white with a white lid and a gold border label and contain 60 fish gelatin softgel dietary supplements. The California Gold Nutrition Women\u2019s Multivitamin and Women\u2019s 50+ Multivitamin both have dark purple packaging with a gold border label and contain 60 capsules in foil inside. <br data-node-id=\"4.1\"\/><\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">Below are the different units affected and their respective batch codes and expiration dates, which are located on the back of the containers.<\/p>\n<p>California Gold Nutrition Daily Prenatal Multivitamin<\/p>\n<ul data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-1wk73g0 emevuu60\">\n<li data-node-id=\"8.0\">Batch codes: 2307050A, 2404096A, 2411100A <\/li>\n<li data-node-id=\"8.1\">Expiration dates: 08\/2025, 05\/2026, 11\/2026 <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>California Gold Nutrition Ultamins Women\u2019s Multivitamin<\/p>\n<ul data-node-id=\"10\" class=\"css-1wk73g0 emevuu60\">\n<li data-node-id=\"10.0\">Batch codes: V0532, V0533<\/li>\n<li data-node-id=\"10.1\">Expiration dates: 11\/2026, 07\/2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>California Gold Nutrition Ultamins Women\u2019s 50+ Multivitamin<\/p>\n<ul data-node-id=\"12\" class=\"css-1wk73g0 emevuu60\">\n<li data-node-id=\"12.0\">Batch codes: V0534, V0536<\/li>\n<li data-node-id=\"12.1\">Expiration dates: 07\/2026, 11\/2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"13\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">The recall appears to stem from a violation of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, which requires certain medications (such as those containing iron, like these multivitamins) to have child-resistant packaging. The packaging of the recalled multivitamins is not child-resistant, \u201cposing a risk of deadly poisoning, if the contents are swallowed by young children,\u201d according to the CPSC. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"14\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">The affected medication was sold online at Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other online retailers from January 2019 through April 2025. While only the bottle itself is being recalled due to safety concerns, the CPSC still recommends against taking the supplements and says to dispose of the product. All known purchasers are being contacted directly regarding the recall by iHerb. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"15\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">If you find you have the item in your possession, the CPSC advises you to immediately ensure the recalled supplement bottles are out of reach of children.
