Ariana Grande<\/a> has been cast in the newest installation of the FX anthology series, reuniting with series creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk after starring in their short-lived horror comedy series \u201cScream Queens\u201d a decade ago. <\/p>\n\n\tAdditionally, Season 13 will feature the returns of several franchise regulars: Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman. (Roberts and Lourd also starred in \u201cScream Queens\u201d alongside Grande.)<\/p>\n
\n\tThe news came from the Ryan Murphy Productions Instagram page, which posted a video of a black screen with the cast members\u2019 names written in the \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d signature font as Vera Lynn\u2019s cover of \u201cI\u2019ll Be Seeing You\u201d plays.<\/p>\n
\n\tLange\u2019s casting is particularly notable, as the fan-favorite hasn\u2019t appeared in \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d since Season 8, 2018\u2019s \u201cApocalypse.\u201d The same is true of Bassett, Bates and Sidibe, while Peters and Paulson last appeared in Season 10, 2021\u2019s \u201cDouble Feature.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tThe reunion of so many past stars has caused fans to speculate that Season 13 may return to the story of a previous season, particularly Season 3, 2013\u2019s \u201cCoven.\u201d \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d previously reprised old characters in \u201cApocalypse,\u201d which was a crossover of \u201cCoven,\u201d 2011\u2019s \u201cMurder House\u201d (Season 1) and 2015\u2019s \u201cHotel\u201d (Season 5).<\/p>\n
\n\tSeason 12 of \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d was titled \u201cDelicate\u201d and ran on FX from September 2023 to April 2024. The cast included Roberts, Lourd, Grossman, Kim Kardashian, Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Michaela Ja\u00e9 Rodriguez, Denis O\u2019Hare, Cara Delevingne, Julie White and Maaz Ali. 20th Television produces \u201cAmerican Horror Story.\u201d<\/p>\n
