I traveled globally, visiting oil refineries and pharmaceutical companies to assist with laboratory efficiency and compliance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where did you grow up?<\/strong><br \/>Walnut Creek in Northern California<\/p>\n<p><strong>Growing up, what did you want to be?<\/strong><br \/>A physical therapist<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you do to relax when you\u2019re stressed?<\/strong><br \/>Take walks or read books<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?<\/strong><br \/>Baby Doe Tabor. She is a distant cousin. She was the \u201csilver queen\u201d of Colorado during the 1800s mining days. We used to own some of the mines, but sold due to safety concerns over the years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is Houston\u2019s best kept secret?<\/strong><br \/>The Buffalo Bayou, a beautiful underground reservoir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you love most about the industry?<\/strong><br \/>Helping people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the most difficult aspect of your job?<\/strong><br \/>While difficult, it is invigorating as no day is ever the same.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your best advice for generating new leads?<\/strong><br \/>Networking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are you binge-watching\/reading\/listening to?<\/strong><br \/>Mystery books by Tiffany Snow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your favorite meal in Houston?<\/strong><br \/>Afternoon Tea at the Post Oak Hotel<\/p>\n<p><strong>Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?<\/strong><br \/>The Pennzoil Place<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the weirdest thing that\u2019s ever happened to you on the job?<\/strong><br \/>I was selling a ranch and brewery. The owner would feed the spoiled hops to his cattle. Well, these cows come running for the special treat. It was quite a sight!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?<\/strong><br \/>I danced ballet for 20 years, including on-pointe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your favorite vacation spot and why?<\/strong><br \/>Ouray, Colorado. Beautiful mountains, peaceful quaint town and fabulous off-roading on old mining trails.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?<\/strong><br \/>Customer service is always number one.
