Provided<\/p>\n<p>Torigoe disappeared down the tunnel, but about 15 seconds later she was seen rushing back toward the platform before a northbound L train plowed into her just as she grabbed onto the ladder.<\/p>\n<p>The train violently dragged her down the platform as other straphangers quickly jumped back.<\/p>\n<p>Torigoe was pronounced dead by first responders minutes later, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said at the time no criminality was suspected. <\/p>\n<p>She wandered onto the tracks because she needed to urinate, sources told The Post Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>While there are restrooms at the station, they close at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.8028169;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36421751\" width=\"1024\" height=\"568\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/video-107527093.jpg\" alt=\"The incident took place at the Union Square station. \" class=\"wp-image-36421751\"  \/>The incident took place at the Union Square station.
