Some Chicago-area residents may see showers arriving Saturday afternoon, while other parts of the region could remain dry.<\/p>\n
According to the NBC 5 Storm Team, those showers could spin into the area on the back side of a low-pressure system that\u2019s slowly moving out of the upper Midwest, with the primary area of focus being the city of Chicago and the northern suburbs.<\/p>\n
According to forecast models, those showers likely won\u2019t make it into the western and southern suburbs of the city, with partly-to-mostly cloudy conditions expected in those areas.<\/p>\n
High temperatures Saturday will be a bit cooler than the last few days, rising only into the low-50s, according to the NBC 5 Storm Team.<\/p>\n
Overnight lows are expected to dip into the low-to-mid 30s across most of the area, and Sunday should see similar conditions, with highs in the 50s and partly-to-mostly cloudy skies.<\/p>\n
By Monday though, temperatures are expected to warm up a bit, rising into the upper-50s and perhaps even the low-60s across the area under partly-to-mostly sunny skies, according to forecast models.<\/p>\n
Tuesday and Wednesday could be even warmer, with the entire area seeing temps in the low-60s amid a pleasant stretch of weather.<\/p>\n
By Friday those temps are expected to drop back to more normal levels in the low-to-mid 50s, with a chance of rain also re-entering the forecast to end the work week.<\/p>\n
