PHOENIX \u2014 A woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after a domestic dispute in west Phoenix on Friday evening, authorities said.<\/p>\n

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the area of 89th and Indianola avenues<\/a> for reports of a shooting around 5:12 p.m.<\/p>\n

When police arrived on scene, they reportedly entered a home and found an adult man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

Police said both were removed from the home and then taken to the hospital by the Phoenix Fire Department with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Shondra Lynn Pregler, 50, was reportedly pronounced dead at the hospital.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the man received emergency surgery and Phoenix police said that he is still being treated for his injuries.<\/p>\n

According to police, the man has not yet been interviewed.<\/p>\n

The investigation into the deadly west Phoenix incident is ongoing.<\/p>\n

No other information was provided.<\/p>\n
