Brad Pitt<\/a> has words of wisdom for the next generation of actors.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n On Wednesday, July 2, the 61-year-old F1 movie star appeared as a guest on the New Heights<\/a> podcast, joining Travis Kelce<\/a> and Jason Kelce<\/a> while on a promo run for his new sports movie.\n<\/p>\n \u201cWhoa! Brothers Kelce!\u201d Pitt said as he joined the show remotely. \u201cSorry, I was late. I couldn’t get my s— together this morning,\u201d he quipped after joking about not being able to reach 200 mph while driving on set.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Jason, 37, later refers to Pitt\u2019s character, Sonny Hayes, as \u201can old, grizzled veteran,\u201d which leads the trio to discuss age.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The former Philadelphia Eagles center confesses that he and his 35-year-old brother were used to seeing \u201cthese young guys come in\u201d the NFL and how things have changed in the 13 years that they played professionally.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cIt was just very relatable for us watching that as a veteran football player,\u201d Jason told Pitt of F1.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The Fight Club star joked that he prepared for the role by stocking up on \u201ca lot of old man jokes.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Switching gears, Pitt said, \u201cI like watching what the new generations are coming in with. To see what they’re up against and also the way they negotiate their way through it. I feel like they enjoy it more.\u201d\n<\/p>\n \u201cWe were a little more uptight and had to be about acting. You didn’t sell out, you didn’t sell out, you didn’t sell out. And now it’s this thing of, \u2018Hey man, we can be artists in many different arenas. They will die,\u2019 \u201d the Academy Award winner said.\n<\/p>\n Throughout Pitt\u2019s decades-long career, he\u2019s only appeared in one franchise: Steven Soderbergh’s Oceans trilogy \u2014 2001\u2019s Ocean’s Eleven, 2004\u2019s Ocean’s Twelve and 2007\u2019s Ocean’s Thirteen \u2014 alongside George Clooney<\/a>, Matt Damon<\/a> and Julia Roberts<\/a>.
