Manchester United\u2019s transfer window is all set to gain momentum as the pre-season is approaching, and Matheus Cunha will be joined on that plane by another new arrival. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Negotiations for Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> are dragging, but Man Utd<\/a> will welcome a youngster from Paraguay, Diego Leon<\/a>, and a youngster from France, Enzo Kana-Biyik<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Both were \u2018signed\u2019 in January<\/a> but will arrive at Old Trafford<\/a> this summer, with Leon already pictured leaving<\/a> for Manchester. <\/p>\n

Cerro Porteno have now officially announced that their player is leaving for the \u201cTheatre of Dreams\u201d, sending a heartfelt message in the process. <\/p>\n

It is a huge deal for a Paraguayan club that a player straight from their youth system has been snapped up by Manchester United.<\/p>\n

The excitement surrounding Leon is high, and he didn\u2019t do anything to temper expectations by making a pre-season promise before arriving<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Leon\u2019s style of play<\/a> is thrilling to watch, and his mentality has him primed to surprise a few people when he arrives to train at Carrington<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Cerro Porteno have posted two posts on Instagram announcing Leon\u2019s official departure. <\/p>\n

One says [translated from Spanish]: \u201cWe wish the greatest success to the player Diego Le\u00f3n, Canterano del Cycl\u00f3n, who will continue his career as a professional footballer in England and will bring all the Paraguayan talent to the prestigious Premier League. Let\u2019s go all in, Diego.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another post took the fans through his footballing journey so far at the club, from his days as a youngster working with his father, to finally earning a move to \u201cThe Theatre of Dreams\u201d. <\/p>\n

Diego Leon merits a pre-season chance<\/p>\n

It has been widely reported that United\u2019s plan for Leon includes an immediate loan move, probably to FC Lausanne Sport, Ineos-owned club in Switzerland. <\/p>\n

However, unlike Sekou Kone, who\u2019s likely to take the same route<\/a>, Leon comes with first-team experience at a fairly high level. <\/p>\n

That, plus his comments about wanting to make an immediate mark, speaks of a player who is ready for the challenge ahead of him.<\/p>\n

Most importantly, he knows what it will take to succeed in that challenge, and that is half the battle at a club as intensely scrutinised as Man Utd. <\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> needs to try him out in pre-season, because Leon has already thrown the gauntlet to himself.
