COTTONWOOD, AZ (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 The Cottonwood Police Department responded to reports of a feathered fugitive on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The department said they received multiple 911 calls about an emu sprinting through the streets and into traffic. Some may say it was a real emu-gency!<\/p>\n
After some teamwork between police officers and animal control, the emu was safely caught and brought home. <\/p>\n
