We\u2019re less than 48 hours out from Election Day. Though you won\u2019t see many candidates on the ballot, this is an unusually consequential off-year election<\/a> for Bexar County voters.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bexar County is asking voters\u2019 permission to use venue tax dollars to redevelop the San Antonio Spurs\u2019 current home on the East Side into a year-round stock show and rodeo district \u2014 listed on the ballot at Proposition A \u2014 and funding for a new downtown arena \u2014 on the ballot as Proposition B, among other measures.<\/p>\n

When and where can I vote?<\/p>\n

Bexar County has more voting centers operating on Election Day than during early voting. Voters can cast their ballots on Nov. 4 at any polling location<\/a> from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Use this map<\/a> to find your nearest polling location.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Present a valid Bexar County voter registration card to the operator upon boarding in order to receive the free fare.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

The Bexar County Elections Department reminds voters that state law prohibits wearing campaign swag when you go to vote. That includes anything with school district, city, San Antonio Spurs and San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo logo, Elections Administrator Michele Carew said.<\/p>\n

School funding measures are also on the ballot: Judson, East Central and Schertz-Cibolo ISDs are all asking voters to approve tax rate increases. Meanwhile, Northeast ISD is pursuing its first bond election in a decade.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also on Tuesday, Converse, Schertz and Windcrest are electing mayors and council members. Schertz is also voting on a proposal involving land annexation near Randolph Air Force Base.<\/p>\n
