JASPER COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – The Jasper County Sheriff\u2019s Department released Sunday that one of the missing monkeys was found by a homeowner.<\/p>\n

Three monkeys have been missing since October 28<\/a>, when a truck hauling several monkeys overturned on I-59 near mile marker 117.<\/p>\n

Several agencies, including the Jasper County Sheriff\u2019s Department and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, have been working to find all of the missing monkeys.<\/p>\n

A homeowner on Highway 503 near Heidelberg found one of the monkeys on their property this morning.<\/p>\n

According to the sheriff\u2019s department, Mississippi Game and Fish responded, and the monkey is now in their possession.<\/p>\n

The sheriff\u2019s department reported that no other information is known at this time.<\/p>\n
