The Seattle Seahawks have the best record in the NFC. Well, they are one of four teams with the best record in the NFC anyway and after all the tiebreakers are applied, they sit third in the conference coming out of Week 9.<\/p>\n
The NFC West could not be closer at the top. The Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams haven\u2019t played a game yet, so there is no head-to-head, so Seattle\u2019s 1-1 division record beats L.A.\u2018s 0-1. Seattle leads the division and is the three seed as of right now. The San Francisco 49ers are a half-game back at 6-3 after their win on Sunday.<\/p>\n
As the leader in the NFC West, the Seahawks are placed into the three-way tie with the Eagles and Buccaneers. Philadelphia has the best conference winning percentage, so they are first. Then the Buccaneers\u2019 win over the Seahawks is the next tiebreaker to place Seattle third.<\/p>\n
The reason the Seahawks are tied for the best record in the conference is that the Green Bay Packers lost on Sunday, falling to the Carolina Panthers. Green Bay is now fourth in the NFC.<\/p>\n
In the wild card race, the Rams hold the top spot there followed by the 49ers and the Detroit Lions. Detroit lost on Sunday to open the door. The Lions are tied with the Chicago Bears overall, but the Lions\u2019 Week 2 win is the tiebreaker there. The Carolina Panthers are 5-4 and sit ninth.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Cowboys vs Arizona Cardinals game on Monday won\u2019t impact this very much since neither team will be above. 500 after the game.<\/p>\n
