{"id":351966,"date":"2025-11-03T05:58:18","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T05:58:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/351966\/"},"modified":"2025-11-03T05:58:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T05:58:18","slug":"final-phoenix-results-points-for-nascar-2025-season-as-blaney-wins-finale-larson-wins-title","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/351966\/","title":{"rendered":"Final Phoenix results, points for NASCAR 2025 season as Blaney wins finale, Larson wins title"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ryan Blaney won the NASCAR Cup Series season finale in overtime at Phoenix Raceway, making a last-lap pass of Brad Keselowski for his fourth victory this season and 17th of his career.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle Larson finished third to capture his second Cup championship.<\/p>\n<p>Joey Logano was fourth, and Kyle Busch took fifth in a race extended by seven laps on the 1-mile oval after a caution for William Byron, who smacked the wall with three laps remaining while running second.<\/p>\n<p>The timing of the yellow on Lap 309 of a scheduled 312 was devastating for Denny Hamlin, who finished sixth after leading a race-high 208 laps from the pole position. Hamlin pitted from first during the final caution flag but emerged from the pits in 10th after taking four tires while several drivers took two tires (including Larson) or stayed on the track.<\/p>\n<p>    <a class=\"Link\" aria-label=\"What Drivers Said at Phoenix after NASCAR Cup title for Kyle Larson, win for Ryan Blaney\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nascar\/news\/what-drivers-said-at-phoenix-after-cup-title-kyle-larson-win-ryan-blaney-denny-hamlin-william-byron\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"Image\" alt=\"nbc_nas_larson_251102.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1762149498_751_\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The 2025 season came to a dramatic finish in Avondale, Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>Blaney, who led three times for 20 laps, earned his first win at Phoenix in his 20th start on the 1-mile oval in Avondale, Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the second time in the 11 races of the elimination playoffs era that the winner of the season finale came from outside the Championship 4 (Ross Chastain won in 2023 while Blaney earned the title).<\/p>\n<p>The race featured nine cautions for 65 laps as several drivers \u2014 including all of the Championship 4 drivers \u2014 struggled with tire problems.<\/p>\n<p><b>Here\u2019s the finishing order at Phoenix Raceway<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1.
