HOUSTON<\/strong> \u2013 Authorities are looking for an SUV driver accused of forcing a motorcyclist off his bike Wednesday night, causing him to fall a couple of hundred feet after hitting an overpass. <\/p>\n

It happened around 11 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Sam Houston Parkway North and I-45 N. <\/p>\n

Lt. Willkens with the Houston Police Department<\/a> said witnesses told them an unidentified motorcyclist and an SUV driver engaged in some kind of road rage <\/a>incident, where the SUV driver forced the rider off his bike after hitting the overpass and falling a couple of hundred feet from the flyover. <\/p>\n

The motorcyclist landed in a grassy area and was rushed to a nearby trauma center in serious condition. <\/p>\n

The roadway was shut down for hours while police conducted their investigation, but the hunt for the SUV driver continues. <\/p>\n
