With Grier, the <strong>Dolphins<\/strong> were not planning on being very active at the trade deadline. There was some thought that interim GM <strong>Champ Kelly<\/strong> would be a bit more open to hearing offers, and after some initial refusal of that notion, the team has changed its tune.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve seen this a bit in rumors, as edge rushers <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/PhilJa02.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jaelan Phillips<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/ChubBr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bradley Chubb<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, and <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JudoMa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Matt Judon<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> have been the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.profootballrumors.com\/2025\/11\/edge-rusher-trade-notes-phillips-johnson-garrett-thibodeaux\" rel=\"noopener\">subject of some calls<\/a>, and the Dolphins have even seemed more open to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.profootballrumors.com\/2025\/11\/dolphins-willing-to-entertain-trade-offers-on-jaylen-waddle\" rel=\"noopener\">idea of trading<\/a> wide receiver <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WaddJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jaylen Waddle<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>. According to Armando Salguero of OutKick, team owner <strong>Stephen Ross<\/strong> \u201capproved of\u201d \u2014 and even encouraged \u2014 Kelly <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/sports\/dolphins-owner-stephen-ross-encourages-sale-trade-deadline-while-wanting-mcdaniel-win-save-job\" rel=\"noopener\">selling off valuable players<\/a>, if he could.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, per Salguero, Ross informed head coach <strong>Mike McDaniel<\/strong> that his job was safe for the season and would continue to be safe \u201cif he can rally the team.\u201d It\u2019s anyone\u2019s guess how McDaniel is expected to improve the team\u2019s performance as the front office auctions off its best players, but that appears to be the challenge posed to the fourth-year head coach. This challenge puts particular stress on McDaniel\u2019s handling of the quarterback position moving forward, following rumors that <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/TagoTu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Tua Tagovailoa<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> could <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.profootballrumors.com\/2025\/11\/dolphins-could-bench-qb-tua-tagovailoa-latest-on-hc-mike-mcdaniel\" rel=\"noopener\">face a demotion<\/a> from his starting role.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few other rumors as we have under 48 hours remaining until the trade deadline:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>49ers<\/strong> wide receiver <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JennJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jauan Jennings<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> has worked his way up from the practice squad in his rookie season to a full-time starting role in his fifth year with the team. Jennings sought an extension in the offseason, and he <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.profootballrumors.com\/2025\/07\/49ers-wr-jauan-jennings-seeking-extension-or-trade\" rel=\"noopener\">threatened a trade request<\/a> in order to gain leverage in negotiations. Some teams reportedly called at the time, but with so many injuries at the position already, San Francisco rebuffed them. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, those <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/titans-wr-calvin-ridley-available-a-look-at-nfl-trade-market-ahead-of-tuesday-s-deadline\" rel=\"noopener\">same teams appear to be interested<\/a> again. Head coach <strong>Kyle Shanahan<\/strong> has claimed he \u201cwould be very surprised\u201d if Jennings gets dealt, mostly because they\u2019ve yet to see the return from injury this year of <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AiyuBr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Brandon Aiyuk<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>. Rapoport suggests that, aside from that, Jennings wouldn\u2019t be off the table.<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ve already reported that the <strong>Titans<\/strong> appear to be open for business in the trade market with every player except rookie No. 1 overall pick <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WardCa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cam Ward<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> and starting defensive tackle <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SimmJe01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jeffery Simmons<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>. Any other player is seemingly available. Some have been surprised that this <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.profootballrumors.com\/2025\/11\/tony-pollard-tvondre-sweat-among-titans-drawing-trade-interest\" rel=\"noopener\">apparently includes<\/a> last year\u2019s second-round defensive tackle <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SweaTV01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">T\u2019Vondre Sweat<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, but Terry McCormick of TitansInsider.com sees the reasoning. Per McCormick, the team has \u201c<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/terrymc13\/status\/1985012331374424356\">not been enamored<\/a> with him\u201d so far. If someone with interest in the 24-year-old out of Texas comes with the right price, it sounds like Tennessee would be willing to part with him.<\/li>\n<li>With <strong>Patriots<\/strong> running back <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/StevRh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Rhamondre Stevenson<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> dealing with his recent toe injury, and with New England\u2019s rushers underwhelming so far this year overall, rumors have made the rounds that the team could be looking at the position in the trade market. Offensive coordinator <strong>Josh McDaniels<\/strong> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DougKyed\/status\/1983947836397142192\">attempted to silence<\/a> those rumors, per Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald, telling the media,\u00a0\u201cI think we have all the answers we need.\u201d With Stevenson out today, the Patriots leaned on rookie second-round pick <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HendTr02.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">TreVeyon Henderson<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> and RB3 <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JennTe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Terrell Jennings<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> against Atlanta. They also recently signed veteran <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JohnDE04.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">D\u2019Ernest Johnson<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> to the practice squad and called him up for the game. Despite no single back averaging more than 35 rushing yards per game this season, McDaniels is apparently comfortable with his stable.<\/li>\n<li>On Saturday, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that the <strong>Chargers<\/strong> were \u201cexploring potential <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6767924\/2025\/11\/01\/nfl-trade-deadline-2025-rumors-news-tush-push\/\" rel=\"noopener\">offensive line additions<\/a>\u201d on the trade market. If they weren\u2019t before, they sure are now. Already dealing with a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.profootballrumors.com\/2025\/08\/chargers-fear-torn-patellar-tendon-for-lt-rashawn-slater\" rel=\"noopener\">season-ending injury<\/a> to left tackle <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SlatRa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Rashawn Slater<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> and injuries this week to right guard <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BectMe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mekhi Becton<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> and backup tackle <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DecuAu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Austin Deculus<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, Los Angeles saw its other original starter <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AltxJo01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Joe Alt<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> and replacement starter <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HartBo00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-02_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bobby Hart<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.profootballrumors.com\/2025\/11\/chargers-fear-repeat-injury-for-lt-joe-alt\" rel=\"noopener\">exit today\u2019s game with injuries<\/a>. Down to their third options at both tackle spots, the Chargers may need to get active if they plan on continuing their push for the playoffs.<\/li>\n<li>In regard to the <strong>Bills<\/strong>\u2018\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.profootballrumors.com\/2025\/10\/latest-on-bills-pursuit-of-wr-help\" rel=\"noopener\">pursuit of wide receiver help<\/a> through the trade market, while a specific name to add hasn\u2019t yet emerged, another name seemingly has.
