And while the couple were initially planning to move in around Christmas, builders and staff worked overtime getting them into the home a full month early.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/royals\/article-15251671\/William-Kate-party-builders-staff-cottage.html\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/royals\/article-15251671\/William-Kate-party-builders-staff-cottage.html\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"Daily Mail\" data-node-id=\"3.1.0\" class=\"body-link css-103hk4r emevuu60\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily Mail<\/a>, the royal couple were so grateful to be out of &#8220;cursed&#8221; Adelaide Cottage that they threw a thank you party at &#8220;The York Club&#8221; (a private club near their new house).
