\n\tEXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>Krysten Ritter<\/a> (Jessica Jones), Cameron Crovetti<\/a> (The Boy), Sarah Bolger<\/a> (Mayans M.C.) and Carrie-Anne Moss<\/a> (The Matrix) are set to star in creature horror thriller Claire.<\/p>\n

\n\tProducers Matthew R. Cooper and Anna Dragoo of Objectively Good Media (OGM), along with Sterling Beaumon and Thomas Mahoney, announced the upcoming horror feature on Monday ahead of an AFM<\/a> sales launch.<\/p>\n

\n\tWritten by John Carlos Higgins, the feature explores the intersection of addiction and the supernatural in modern-day rural New Mexico with elements of The Babadook, The Relic and Hereditary.<\/p>\n

\n\tTracy Kleeman, whose short film Fear Filter was a viral hit, generating 10 million views, makes her feature directorial debut on the film. The director is also a former longtime assistant to mentor James Wan (The Conjuring, Malignant), while her other short works include Housekeeping and Beneath the Skin.<\/p>\n

\n\tRitter plays Claire, a struggling single mother battling addiction, as a malevolent creature that feeds on despair begins to terrorize her and her two sons. As her fight for sobriety deepens, the line between inner demons and real monsters, blurs, culminating in a harrowing battle for survival and redemption.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project is executive produced by Julie Kroll, Lior Haas, Lisa Wolofsky and Edoardo Bussi of Twenty-Nine Palms Entertainment<\/a>, who is overseeing global sales and will be presenting the title to distributors at the AFM.<\/p>\n

\n\tBussi, who launched London-based international sales <\/a>and production company earlier this year, will be leading sales discussions at the AFM.<\/p>\n
