Or simple didn\u2019t want to deal with the road closures? Here\u2019s what it was like for the thousands of Angelenos who descended on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/los-angeles\/things-to-do\/things-to-do-in-downtown-los-angeles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Downtown L.A.<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/los-angeles\/news\/the-dodgers-world-series-parade-hits-downtown-l-a-on-monday-110225\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Dodgers\u2019 World Series championship parade<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A fleet of double-decker buses exited the 101 freeway around 11am, and about 10 minutes and a few blasts of confetti later, the team turned onto Temple Street to properly begin their nearly two-mile route through DTLA, mostly along Grand Avenue. (If you\u2019re reading this early enough, you might still be able to tune into their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/dodgers\/news\/dodgers-2025-world-series-parade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">afternoon rally at Dodger Stadium<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>Lest you think the team\u2019s second championship in two years would somehow be less exciting, seemingly every inch of sidewalk was packed with Dodger fans to see manager Dave Roberts\u00a0hoist the Commissioner\u2019s Trophy and\u00a0all of the players\u00a0soak in the atmosphere\u2014and occasionally soak some fans in champagne.
