In his 12 games\u00a0with the Warriors in the 2022-23\u00a0NBA\u00a0season,\u00a0Ryan Rollins<\/a>\u00a0scored 23 total points.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In last\u00a0Thursday\u2019s game against his former team<\/a>, Rollins scored 32 points for the Milwaukee Bucks, handing\u00a0Golden State\u00a0a shocking\u00a0120-110 loss.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Draymond Green praised his former teammate\u2019s performance on the latest episode of his podcast, \u201cThe Draymond Green Show.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan\u2019s game, I\u2019ll actually say, it\u00a0was\u00a0beautiful,\u201d Green declared.\u00a0\u201cLike the pace that he played with, he\u00a0never got\u00a0sped\u00a0up,\u00a0he never got rattled.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Green recounted how, after Rollins \u2018levelled\u2019 Steph Curry\u00a0off of\u00a0a screen, he tried to get into Rollins\u2019 head by giving him some hard contact in return.\u00a0Rollins was not\u00a0affected, and\u00a0continued to torch the Warriors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019d\u00a0be surprised at how many guys, once\u00a0you do that, once you go there,\u00a0go by the wayside,\u201d Green said. \u201cAnd he just\u00a0stayed\u00a0the course, kept having a game, made another big shot, made two or three more big shots. And it was\u00a0a beautiful\u00a0thing to see.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rollins\u2019 success this season\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0just limited to his performance against the Warriors. In six games played this season, he\u00a0is averaging\u00a018.2\u00a0points\u00a0per game\u00a0with a 50.9\u00a0field goal percentage and a 40.0 3-point percentage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Drafted No. 44 overall three years ago, Rollins averaged 1.9 points in 12 games as a rookie for the Warriors. Following his first NBA season, Golden State included him in the trade with the Washington Wizards that brought future Hall of Fame guard Chris Paul to the Bay.<\/p>\n

Last season,\u00a0Rollins signed a two-way\u00a0contract with the Bucks in February after\u00a0he was waived by the Wizards\u00a0a month prior. In the offseason, he signed a multi-year contract\u00a0to stay with Milwaukee.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYou talk about a guy who\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0had the easiest\u00a0path\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0found a home,\u201d Green said.\u00a0\u201cYeah, he\u00a0won\u2019t\u00a0average 32 points or\u00a0[get]\u00a030 every\u00a0night\u00a0or every other\u00a0night.\u00a0But,\u00a0I think\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0found a\u00a0home\u00a0and I think\u00a0he\u2019ll\u00a0be able to consistently play well there. Which will be great for him, and it will be great for Milwaukee.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Warriors are next scheduled to play Milwaukee on Jan. 7, 2026. Green and the Warriors hope that he\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0have another \u2018beautiful\u2019 game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
