\n\tNetflix<\/a> and fight promoter Most Valuable Promotions announced that the Jake Paul<\/a> vs. Gervonta \u201cTank\u201d Davis boxing match, originally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 14, will no longer be moving forward. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe event, which was to be held at Miami\u2019s Kaseya Center, had been set to be livestreamed worldwide on Netflix<\/a>. MVP said it was still planning to stage a headline fight for Paul, the digital influencer turned pro boxer, sometime in 2025 on Netflix.<\/p>\n

\n\tA year ago, Netflix streamed Paul\u2019s record-breaking fight<\/a>\u00a0against Mike Tyson,\u00a0which drew an estimated average minute audience (AMA) of 108 million live viewers globally<\/a>. According to Netflix, the Paul-Tyson fight was the most-streamed sporting event to date, according to Netflix.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement of the Paul-Davis fight\u2019s cancelation comes after Davis was sued last week in another alleged domestic incident. As reported by ESPN<\/a>, in a civil lawsuit filed in Miam-Dade County, Davis was accused by ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Calvin Ford, Davis\u2019 trainer, told USA Today<\/a> that the lawsuit against the boxer was \u201cnonsense\u201d and said about Davis, \u201cHe\u2019s doing great. Everything\u2019s good. That\u2019s why we\u2019re trying to find out what\u2019s going on.\u201d\u00a0Davis had previously been accused in a domestic violence case by a different ex-girlfriend; that case was dropped in August<\/a>. Davis is on probation after he pleaded guilty to a 2020 hit-and-run car accident, according to CBS News<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement<\/a> released on Nov. 1, MVP said it had \u201cimmediately initiated an investigation upon learning of the civil lawsuit filed against Gervonta Davis<\/a> in Miami-Dade County on October 30th, 2025. At this time, we are gathering information and reviewing the details to ensure any decision we make is thoroughly vetted. We unequivocally condemn any form of violence and are committed to handling this matter with diligence and respect for all involved.\u201d<\/p>\n
