JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 The Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office says a man remains hospitalized after he was shot multiple times at his home in Northwest Jacksonville.<\/p>\n

Police say they were called to a home on W 25th Street just after 2 p.m. Monday over reports of someone shot. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 30s suffering from several gunshot wounds. <\/p>\n

The man was transported to a hospital by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue, where at last check, he was in stable condition. JSO hasn\u2019t been able to speak to him yet because he was in surgery.<\/p>\n

Investigators say their initial investigation found that the man was speaking with another man in a gray, BMW SUV parked in the driveway of his home. A dispute occurred, leading the man to exit the SUV. Police say that\u2019s when he was shot several times before going inside his home.<\/p>\n

Detectives and the JSO Crime Scene Unit were at the scene reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses.<\/p>\n

Police say this is believed to be an isolated incident.<\/p>\n
