{"id":35518,"date":"2025-07-03T14:33:16","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T14:33:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/35518\/"},"modified":"2025-07-03T14:33:16","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T14:33:16","slug":"scottsdale-best-spot-in-arizona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/35518\/","title":{"rendered":"Scottsdale best spot in Arizona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX \u2014 Scottsdale was recently crowned as the best place in Arizona to celebrate the Fourth of July.<\/p>\n<p>WalletHub bestowed the title upon the Valley city last week in its list of <a href=\"https:\/\/wallethub.com\/edu\/best-4th-of-july-celebrations\/4651\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">100 best and worst places in the U.S.<\/a> to celebrate Independence Day.<\/p>\n<p>Scottsdale was ranked 11th in the nation.<\/p>\n<p>Why was Scottsdale No. 1 for Arizona Fourth of July celebrations?<\/p>\n<p>The personal finance website calculated the\u00a0 rankings based on the following five criteria: Fourth of July celebrations, affordability, the weather forecast for the Fourth of July, safety and accessibility, and attractions and activities.<\/p>\n<p>Any storm activity in the Valley is expected to clear out before the <a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-news\/phoenix-events-calendar-phoenix-az\/5659135\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fourth of July holiday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Each city was given a score out of 100 in each of the five categories.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers then calculated a weighted average for each city.<\/p>\n<p>Other best places for Arizona Fourth of July celebrations<\/p>\n<p>Scottsdale scored 60.65 total points, narrowly missing a place in the top 10.<\/p>\n<p>While Scottsdale rated 11th in weather, 21st in affordability and 22nd in attractions and activities, it placed 44th in Fourth of July celebrations and 53rd in safety and accessibility.<\/p>\n<p>Coming in at No. 22, Tucson was the next best city to celebrate the holiday in Arizona, followed by Mesa (34), Phoenix (43), Gilbert (58), Chandler (66) and Glendale (69).<\/p>\n<p>Newark, New Jersey, was found to be the worst city to spend the Fourth of July.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"twitter-follow-button\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/veenstra_david\" data-show-count=\"false\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Follow @veenstra_david<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We want to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px;\">Have a story idea or tip?
