{"id":355814,"date":"2025-11-04T20:38:10","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T20:38:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/355814\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T20:38:10","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T20:38:10","slug":"after-world-series-celebration-ice-and-border-patrol-gather-at-dodger-stadium-once-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/355814\/","title":{"rendered":"After World Series celebration, ICE and Border Patrol gather at Dodger Stadium once again"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dozens of federal immigration agents were seen staging in a Dodgers Stadium parking lot Tuesday morning, a day after the team returned home to celebrate their back-to-back championships with thousands of Angelenos.<\/p>\n<p>Videos shared with The Times and on <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/t\/ZTMgjB92c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">TikTok<\/a>, show agents in unmarked vehicles, donning green vests and equipped with white zip ties in parking lot 13, next to the Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center, which is used by the Los Angeles Fire Department.<\/p>\n<p>Eyewitnesses on the ground told The Times they estimated there were about 100 agents with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection, along with a special tactical unit with CBP. The agents left shortly before 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson with the Dodgers could not immediately be reached for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The staging of federal immigration agents comes just a day after thousands of Angelenos gathered at the stadium to celebrate the<a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/dodgers\/story\/2025-11-01\/dodgers-defeat-toronto-blue-jays-game-7-comeback\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Dodgers ninth World Series championship<\/a> following their victory parade through downtown L.A.<\/p>\n<p>It is also sure to reignite controversy for the team. Five months ago, protests erupted outside the stadium gates when federal immigration used the parking lot as a processing site for people who had been arrested in a nearby immigration raid.<\/p>\n<p>It was there where a<a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2025-06-20\/border-patrol-agents-brag-in-front-of-detained\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> U.S.Citizen said he was detained for hours<\/a> and heard agents bragging about the number of people they were detaining.<\/p>\n<p>The operation sparked public outcry and prompted more than 50 community and religious leaders from around Los Angeles to sign a petition that called on the Dodgers to take a public stance against the immigration raids.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, the Dodgers said they had nothing to do with the operation and announced that they would<a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/dodgers\/story\/2025-06-20\/dodgers-community-leaders-petition-oppose-ice-raids\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> pledge $1 million <\/a>to assist families of immigrants affected by the raids.
