The company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/798923\/microsoft-ai-image-generator-in-house\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> the model in October. Microsoft AI chief Mustafa Suleyman wrote in a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mustafasuleyman\/status\/1985777196460622327?s=46\" rel=\"nofollow\">post on X<\/a> that the text-to-image model will be \u201ccoming soon\u201d to the EU.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Suleyman added that the model \u201creally excels at\u201d generating images of food and nature scenes, as well as artsy lighting and photorealistic detail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Microsoft has previously posted more details on <a href=\"https:\/\/microsoft.ai\/news\/introducing-mai-image-1-debuting-in-the-top-10-on-lmarena\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">its blog<\/a>: \u201cMAI-Image-1 excels at generating photorealistic imagery, like lighting (e.g., bounce light, reflections), landscapes, and much more. This is particularly so when compared to many larger, slower models.
