A man was arrested after shooting his neighbor following an ongoing dispute over loud music, the Burbank Police Department said.<\/p>\n
The shooting was reported Monday shortly after 11 p.m. on North Reese Place, according to police. There, officers found a 33-year-old man on the curb, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.<\/p>\n
As detectives worked on their investigation, they learned the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute over loud music. The alleged gunman, who was identified as 37-year-old Eric Renato Sosa, exited his home to confront two men about loud noise coming from a parked car.<\/p>\n
During the confrontation, a gunshot was fired, hitting one of the men on the leg.<\/p>\n
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. He was described as being in stable condition.<\/p>\n
Sosa was arrested and faces an assault with a deadly weapon charge. He\u2019s being held on $30,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.<\/p>\n
