{"id":356570,"date":"2025-11-05T04:01:18","date_gmt":"2025-11-05T04:01:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/356570\/"},"modified":"2025-11-05T04:01:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T04:01:18","slug":"missing-88-year-old-myrtle-polks-car-found-in-dallas-pond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/356570\/","title":{"rendered":"Missing 88-year-old Myrtle Polk\u2019s car found in Dallas pond"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/4B7D0D1A1DFF8B6E1E914BB40AE7EAF9.jpg\" alt=\"PREVIOUS COVERAGE: One year since 88-year-old Myrtle Polk went missing\" class=\"sr-only\" data-v-7a5d4fdb=\"\"\/>    <\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\"><strong>DALLAS<\/strong> &#8211; The car that belongs to a missing elderly Dallas woman has reportedly been found, according to her family members.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Myrtle Polk, an 88-year-old grandmother who was well known throughout her southern Dallas community of Laureland, was last seen on June 8, 2024 sitting outside of her home, chatting with a neighbor who stopped by.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Her 2004 black Lexus sedan was missing too \u2013 until now.<\/p>\n<p>  Myrtle Polk\u2019s Disappearance <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/request-this-version-p-anglin-dallas-critical-miss_00.00.33.34.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KDFW\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">What&#8217;s new:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Phil Polk confirmed to FOX 4 that his mother\u2019s car was found on Tuesday evening after being pulled from a body of water in Dallas.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">&#8220;The family is waiting to receive any further updates,&#8221; he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Dallas police haven\u2019t yet released an update on the case.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KDFW\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The backstory:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">A Silver Alert was issued for Polk on June 10, 2024, two days after she was last seen at her home in the 1100 block of Indian Creek Trail.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Police believe she later left her home in her black 2024 Lexus ES 330 with the license plate number BV7K204.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">&#8220;The last time she was seen was on Saturday. And she\u2019s 88 years old and has some memory problems. So our concern is that she\u2019s gotten herself somewhere, and she\u2019s confused and doesn\u2019t know where she is. And we just want to bring her home safely,&#8221; Phil Polk told FOX 4 at the time.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Family and friends turned to social media for help.
